SICILIA
Finally it’s possible to travel again. But watch your own and to the safety of others.
its really strange. Traveling with all the health checks, facemask and all the new rules. But we reached safely Sicilia, Catania. From here we took our rental car and we drove on the west side of the Etna passing all the wine houses, pistages and almond farms. A great start of the morning.
Well we moving to our hotel, the first stop we made for today is the city Randazzo. This is a small but really beautifull city, also famous for there wines but most important we get a tip to taste the ice of “mucumeci” an small award winning icecream ship basis in the city center across the big church.
Back on the road we made an second stop at “Gole dell’Alcantara” also the Gap Alcantara. For already 2 euros it’s possible to visit en swim here. But if you pay 12 euros it’s also possible to get an hiking route. It’s a really beautiful and an must visit. Also for the kids( and ofcourse older kids 😉 ) it’s possible to let your self get down by the flow with an squad.
The last stop of today is Taormine. Famous for the Acient greek theater. What ofcourse was our first visit. And the great view over Isola Bella bay. And the two city’s walls. Remember everywhere you can eat good and fresh. They all have every day fresh fish, good bakery’s and good product.
