I staid 3 day’s at the salar de Uyuni salt lake.
The frist day to the uyuni salt flats. I woke up in San Pedro de atacama with a little hangover. Me and some a there people from the hostel are going in the same car first to the border of chili. And then after a one hour driving we were at the bolivia dowama. we had breakfast and went to our 4×4 jeep. After a little while we stop at a green lagoon. And saw Some geysers, they looked like grey mud pools. Afer a long drive we went for a lunch at a place we going to stay for to night. after this walk around in the village and went back to the car for driving again now to the red lagoon. this was so amazing to see. after that back to the village and we went to some old barn. This was a pub here we played ping pong then back for the diner and the first long day is over.
The second day was a long day as well, with a lot of stops after and a long drive. we saw the colored mountains and stone towers. We went for flamingos watching in diverent lagoons, they were everywhere. We had lunch at a lama farm. And after that I climbed some rocks and went for a walk to the last lagoon of the day, the black lagoon. True the rock valley on our way to the salt hotel. In the night from the outside I expected more but inside it was so cool! After my dinner went bed early to see the sunrise.
I woke up in the salt hotel at 4:00 because we are going to see the sunrise at the salt flat. we arrived just on time and after we took Some photos we went to a little village next to the salt flats for breakfast. after this we went in to some old caves where the natif people lived. From there we drove to a cinowa farm. Where they told us a nice story about the caves. After that we went to the cactus island. Here we walk around and see a lot, iT whas strange to see a IJsland full with cactusses in the middel of the salt flakes. Back in the car to see the flags on the salt flat and the dakcar monorail then we went for lunch in a small place walk around there and we had to wait there for a while because there are a lot of drivers are not allowed to work to day a one point we left to go to a train cemetery and have to ask the police to enter the cemetery. This was cool to see. Them we went back to the villaige to the hostel.
