Day 5 easter island
The day started with a walk around the north side of the island but its not alowed to do it by yourself. Because theres not walking trail and no people see you and you can get lost. but I did it and it’s oke to do and saw a lot here, there Where a lot animals. Every site was different and not restored at al. But some of the painting en moai were completely intact what surprised me. By the way watch out for the big birds because they attackted me, be also careful with the buls there. After my long walk of 7 hours went in the night to a show of the rapa nui sing and dance history was nice. It looked a little bit as in new sealand.
Day 6 easter island
I rented a scooter and went driving on the island on the east coast. and stop on diverent sides I found interesting. After i went to a place you normally not alowed to go and in was the only one there. after a full day of driving around I finest the day by waching the sun set at one of the moai sides.
Day 7 santiago
The next morning ill woke up at 5 in the morning and started driving in the dark to the 15 moai”s to see the sun rise and it worth it. after that drove around one the island went for some souvenirs and checked out. Went for the last time to the beach at the village with a friend and some beer to chill. after that grab my bags and went to the airport back to santiago I landed around 22.00 and was at 22:30 at the hostel hang out a bit after this long day.
Easter island was an amazing trip and i am so glad i did this. Its not cheap and Its was better then I expected, way better!! if you want to go there bring a lot of food. you can take almost every thing with you in the airplane and food is really expancief there.
