Rio Gallegos and Ushuaia or not?!

Pack our things and go. First stop is monumento natural bosques pertrificados. A protected park filled with petrified trees. Beautiful vieuw and special stoned in different colours. Also in the middle of nowhere, we were the only visitors and no public transportation. Next stop is Rio Gallegos we will only spent the night here before we cross the border. We found camping SEC. Its ok camping, downside is bad showers.

Next day we drive to the border. And we have a problem, for crossing border with a rental car we need a official form. Oh oh we dont have that. So we have to call Hertz. Didnt pick up. Email them, no reaction. Find nearest location of another hertz. One in rio gallegos is gone and other is in el calafate almost 400km, but better then Buenos Aires around 2000km. The route to el calafate was beautiful trew the mountains, ice blue water and gletsjers. Luckely the nice guy from Herz could help us and also said we are lucky as not all the rental cars are allowed to cross borders. On the way back to Rio Gallegos we saw a fox in the wild. We go back to the same camping and we Will cross border first thing tomorrow.

Ready to cross and everything was in order. From border to the Ferry there is no bank or changing office. You cannot pay with card on the Ferry so make sure you have some cash. Its 500 pesos for 1 car. 1st gasstation is the nearest village and also only cash. After a while nature around us changes and we can already see the gletsjers far away.  Ice blue water and different vieuws of the mountains covered in snow. Arrived in ushuaia.
